Dexter Public Schools is seeking applicants for Assistant Principal at Southwest Elementary for the 2026 - 2027 school year.  This school houses our Pre-K through 2nd grade students.

 

Job qualifications for the elementary school assistant principal include the following:

1. Preference given to administrative and/or teaching experience in the elementary grade levels
2. A valid Missouri elementary principal’s certificate
3. Required Master’s degree and pursuit toward a Specialist’s degree expected
4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

 

This position is a 191-day contracted employment, following the school calendar for holiday observances.  The index is based off of the teacher salary schedule commensurate with degrees and years of experience and a factor or 1.45
