The Dexter R-XI School District is seeking a full time Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) for grades 3-5 for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualifications for the SLP: Education/Certification: Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Missouri. Skills/Abilities: Identifying strengths and weaknesses of communication skills through screenings and administration of evaluation tools, development of Individualized Education Programs, implement appropriate speech and language goals, serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding increasing communication skills of students, collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy, communicate clearly and effectively while displaying good interpersonal skills.

 

Starting teacher pay is $38,000, and salary is based upon years of experience and education.  Additional information about the district can be found at www.dexter.k12.mo.us.
