Dexter R-XI schools is seeking a 9-12 Social Studies teacher for an opening at Dexter Senior high school for the 2025-2026 school year.   Applicants must have strong instructional skills and an understanding of content standards at the secondary level. Applicants must possess the appropriate Missouri Certification and pass a criminal background check. Coaching opportunities also may be available. 

Starting teacher pay is $40,000, and salary is based upon years of experience and education. This is a 180-day contracted position with employee Board-paid insurance and benefits. Additional information about the district can be found at www.dexter.k12.mo.us.
